Profile
From SEC filingsCompany description
We are a clinical-stage oncology company developing MasterKey therapies that target families of oncogenic mutations in patients with cancer. The foundation of our company is built upon a deep understanding of cancer genetics, onco-protein structure and function, and medicinal chemistry. Our MasterKey therapies are designed to address a broad spectrum of genetically defined tumors, overcome resistance, minimize wild-type mediated toxicities, and be brain-penetrant to treat central nervous system (CNS) disease. Our compounds target families of oncogenic mutations in clinically validated pathways. Our lead clinical-stage program, silevertinib (formerly BDTX-1535), a brain-penetrant, fourth-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) MasterKey inhibitor, is currently being studied in a Phase 2 clinical trial in patients with epidermal growth factor receptor mutant (EGFRm) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We plan to initiate a randomized Phase 2 trial of silevertinib in newly diagnosed patients with EGFR altered glioblastoma (GBM) in the second quarter of 2026. The Black Diamond Therapeutics approach Our goal is to bring targeted oncology medicine to patients with genetically defined cancers who have limited treatment options.
