Profile
From SEC filingsCompany description
Startups Act of 2012, as amended (the “Jobs Act”). The Jobs Act provides that an emerging growth company can take advantage of an extended transition period for complying with new or revised accounting standards. Thus, an emerging growth company can delay the adoption of certain accounting standards until those standards would otherwise apply to private companies. The Company has elected to avail itself of this extended transition period and, as a result, the Company will not be required to adopt new or revised accounting standards on the relevant dates on which adoption of such standards is required for other public companies. Recently Adopted Accounting Pronouncements In November 2023, the FASB issued Accounting Standards Update (“ASU”) 2023 -07, Segment Reporting (Topic 280): Improvements to Reportable Segment Disclosures (“ASU 2023 -07 ”). The ASU expands public entities’ segment disclosures by requiring disclosure of significant segment expenses that are regularly provided to a company’s chief operating decision maker (“CODM”) and included within each reported measure of segment profit or loss, an amount and description of its composition for other segment items, and interim disclosures of a reportable segment’s profit or loss and assets. This pronouncement is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2023, and interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2024.
