Profile
From SEC filingsCompany description
in Part I. for further discussion. Actual credit losses may be significantly more than the allowances we have established, which would have a materially adverse effect on our financial results. Comparison of Financial Condition at September 30, 2025 and September 30, 2024 Total assets increased $365.5 million, or 2.14%, to $17.46 billion at September 30, 2025, from $17.09 billion at September 30, 2024. This increase was mainly the result of an increase in mortgage loans held for investment. Cash and cash equivalents decreased $34.3 million, or 7.40%, to $429.4 million at September 30, 2025, from $463.7 million at September 30, 2024. Cash is managed to maintain the level of liquidity described later in the Liquidity and Capital Resources section of the Overview. Investment securities, all of which are classified as available for sale, decreased $5.6 million, or 1.06%, to $520.7 million at September 30, 2025, from $526.3 million at September 30, 2024. The decrease was due to the combined effect of cash flow from security repayments and maturities exceeding purchases during the year ended September 30, 2025. There were no sales of investment securities during the year ended September 30, 2025. Mortgage loans held for sale increased $39.9 million, or 224.16%, to $57.7 million at September 30, 2025, from $17.8 million at September 30, 2024, due to an increase in both loans committed to forward sales and loans identified for future sale.
